Our Story...

Robin's Story

The year 2009 was the worst year of my life. The only good thing that happened in 2009 was when I received a letter in the mail. Maggie wrote me a note with the hope of reconnecting after many years. Over the next year we exchanged pleasant stories about our lives. It wasn't long after that we started making trips to visit one another. Every time I saw her, I got butterflies in my stomach, my hands became sweaty, and my head was whirling with stars! In March of 2011, I was spending my spring break with her in Albuquerque. She took me to dinner at Bien Shur, I'll never forget how she looked at me when she asked me to marry her! I lost my breath! This amazing woman wanted to marry me! She had me when she said..... "You've been looking for someone for a long time, you just didn't know it was going to be me! You have been looking and waiting for me!" She moved to Colorado where we have lived, loved, and laughed together for the past 2 1/2 years. The rest is history! We're getting hitched! I'm living my happily ever after!

Maggie's Story

I remember buying Robin's engagement ring. Signing for the paperwork, I forgot how to spell my own name!!! It was the most definitive, absolute decision I have ever made. Ultimately, the most right decision I have ever made! She was the one, the one that never completely left me. We definately took our own paths in life but something always drew me to her. I was lucky enough to find her a second time in my life and there is no way I am going to loss her again. She said "of course" when I asked her to marry me and I am so proud to be the one that Robin will spend the rest of her life with. Over the last 2 1/2 years in Colorado I have found peace in the crazy crazy but beautiful love we share. Robin's smile gets me through the rough days, the days when I miss my family, or the days that just don't go the way I planned. She is my bestest friend and I just can't get enough of the time we share. I'm so excited to be getting hitched!
